Since 1986, Ahuntsic Dental Center has been located on Fleury Ouest Street in Montreal. Founded by Dr. Mario Desrochers and Dr. Richard Sauvé, the clinic stands out for it’s forward-thinking vision and commitment to the Ahuntsic community. It’s first expansion in 1993, followed by the official establishment of Ahuntsic Dental Center in the early 2000s, marked the first major milestones in its development.
In 2015, Dr. Maxime Desrochers and Dr. Nicholas Trudeau took over and continued the clinic’s growth while preserving its family-oriented values. Dr. Desrochers also serves on the board of the Quartier Fleury Ouest Business Development Society (SDC FLO) and is actively involved in the community’s development.
In 2017, the clinic expanded its services, increasing from 7 to 12 treatment rooms, and welcomed Dr. Mélanie Taillefer to the team. Eight years later, in 2025, she became a partner, driven by a strong desire to continue strengthening the clinic’s collective and patient-centered vision.

Yes, we accept all dental insurance plans. For most treatments, we bill your insurer directly, and you pay any portion not covered at the front desk before leaving the clinic.
Do we accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan?
Yes, we accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). If you are eligible for this program, you can use your coverage.
Is the clinic wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, our clinic does not have a wheelchair ramp. However, if you have other accessibility or mobility needs, please do not hesitate to contact us.
